Xiaomi 14 and Samsung Galaxy S24 are two basic flagships from the biggest smartphone manufacturers. Both gadgets have attracted a lot of attention from users and experts for their amazing features. We decided to compare the devices to find the class champion.
Performance and memory
Both devices come with top processors. The representative of the Korean manufacturer received a 10-core Exynos 2400, while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. And no matter how hard Samsung worked on the proprietary chip, it is 15-20% behind the competitor in the speed of performing tasks. And this is half the trouble compared to differences in memory. At the same time, only versions of the Galaxy S24 from 256 GB received this luxury, and the younger one is satisfied with UFS 3.1.
Display
Both screens are cool LTPO matrices with smooth 120 Hz and excellent calibration. The Xiaomi 14's display is slightly larger at 6.36 inches compared to the Galaxy S24's 6.2 inches. In addition, it is brighter - peak 3000 nits against 2600 nits. It seems like little things, but in life it is noticeable.
Cameras
The main cameras of both flagships click with 50-megapixel sensors, but in the Xiaomi 14 it is physically larger and with a higher brightness. At the output, the Xiaomi 14 produces more natural and detailed pictures, while the Galaxy S24 likes to process them aggressively. With ultra-wide-angle modules, the schedule is unambiguous:
- 50 MP f/2.0 in Xiaomi 14 shoots sharper;

Xiaomi 14 can be considered an attractive flagship for the following reasons:

- larger amount of RAM and flash memory, and faster;
- cool cameras that shoot naturally and in detail;
- comprehensive equipment with screen protection, cover and powerful ZP in the box.
Galaxy S24 is also good, especially if you want better quality filming. But objectively, Xiaomi is closer to an ideal smartphone.
